Teaching to us, is a life goal that can never truly be completed. Teaching as well as learning is never over; you are always updating the information that you need to be successful in your craft. Becoming a teacher is the embodiment of the idea of a life learner. There is always new technologies, new ways to teach, and learn. We don’t want to become that teacher that thinks they know everything about everything. We want to be a teacher who learns from her students, and her students learn from her.
We want to teach because we want to inspire our students to become avid members of society. We will inspire our kids to become more than what they thought they could be. We want to open doors, and windows to different opportunities through life. Our students will know that no dream is too big to come true. We are giving our students the ability to use their skills they will need to make in society. No students will be left behind or feel inferior to the next.
No one student will feel in order to achieve the things they want in life is by stepping on others. They will see that hard work does payoff, and they will be awarded for their efforts. Whether, it is a good job, a family, or a career you can only dream of. We chose to become middle school teachers, because we would like to inspire kids in their development stage. At this moment in their lives, it is very crucial to their learning methods. The students will start finding themselves. They will find who they are, and what they want to be.
Students around middle school age begin to know the things they like and don’t like. When we went to middle school we had an amazing time and a wonderful experience. We didn't have any problems with our work because we had teachers to guide us on the right path. We even made lifelong friends.
As a teacher we want to be able to give those same joys and opportunities we had as a student in our own classroom. We want our students to always remember that us as their teacher, we will always be there for them, and they will know that they will always have that person to motivate them. As well as, keep them on their right path. As a scholar and as a good person; a person who will know the meaning of giving back to the community, and what a great teacher can do.
